As a preliminary to the opening on April 19, the Palais de Tokyo is partly opening up during 2 days. Events, concerts, performances, lectures, shows... all providing a chance to go behind the scenes and discover a metamorphosis, before the exhibition areas open up fully with La Triennale.
From 8pm on Thursday 12 April to
midnight on Friday 13 April, the Palais de
Tokyo will offer an intense, fast-motion,
hallucinatory glimpse of the energy that is
going to be invested in the Palais de Tokyo
over the next few years.
28 hours of events, concerts, performances,
conferences and shows by artists such as
Christian Marclay, Olivier Saillard, Gwenaël
Morin, Hajnal Nemeth, Matthew Herbert
and Lucas Abela will take up residence at
the Palais de Tokyo!
Fever pitch at 9pm, jolts at midnight,
hallucinations in the dead of night, then a
beautiful dawn... Enjoy these moments as
you take a behind-the-scenes look at the
Palais de Tokyo’s transformation as it
prepares to open its exhibition spaces for
La Triennale “Intense proximity”, which will
be setting up at the same time. All
accessible areas (almost half of the site),
