Each art college short-lists six post-graduate students from which The Red Mansion panel of judges selects seven winners, one winner for each college.
The Red Mansion Art Prize was established to promote artistic exchange between China and the UK. In addition to the six long-standing colleges (The Royal Academy Schools, The Royal College of Art, Chelsea College of Art, Central St. Martin, Slade School and Goldsmiths College), in 2006 we also invited the Ruskin School in Oxford to take part in the Art Prize competition. Each college short-lists six post-graduate students from which The Red Mansion panel of judges selects seven winners, one winner for each college.
