Super Surfaces without Superficiality. A lesson
Super Surfaces without Superficiality. Lynn's work spans from large scale building proposals, for instance his Korean Presbyterian Church in New York (1999), to his 'Tea & Coffee Towers,' an ensemble of mass-produced one-of-a-kind objects for Alessi. The work is frequently accompanied by a profoundly researched and speculative theoretical position, and his more recent collaborations with Bill Pearson has seen Lynn return to questions of modular assemblies and architectural tectonics versus heterogeneously articulated continuity in composite membrane surfaces.
