Los Angeles, CA – Jack Rutberg Fine Arts launches its summer exhibition with an exciting collection of contemporary and modern paintings, drawings, prints and sculpture, “The Art of Summer” shown in tandem with a reinstallation of the critically celebrated “Claire Falkenstein: An Expansive Universe.”
“The Art of Summer,” features new acquisitions of works by Richard Diebenkorn, Vija Celmins, Marc Chagall, Sam Francis, Karel Appel, Pablo Picasso, Max Ernst, Georges Rouault and others. This large exhibition offers a wide range of works from the most intimate scale, as exampled by a rare early Sam Francis lithograph, to the monumental three-panel painting on canvas by Patrick Graham. Among the many artists included are Jordi Alcaraz, Hans Burkhardt, George Condo, Reuben Nakian, Robert Rauschenberg, Ed Ruscha, Ruth Weisberg, Jerome Witkin and Francisco Zuniga.
