The new series "L'echelle de Mohs". Molder's artwork is deeply connected with philosophy and literature. From these, his work draws a peculiar taste for the dark side of the mind, and for a subtle meteorology of ambiguities. He, indeed, is particularly interested in the metaphysical aspects that enter the everyday life of each human being. The artist amplifies this issue through the perception of his own image, and, not without irony, he seems to view himself as a stranger. Going beyond self-representation or introspection, Molder uses his own image, as well as all his metaphorical images, to attempt a reflection on time and being into the world.
