Inaugural Gala and Benefit Auction
White Flag Projects is pleased to announce its Inaugural Gala and Benefit Auction, to be held in the institution's St. Louis exhibition space on November 3. The auction will include significant contributions from White Flag Projects' long roster of exhibited artists and others, with artworks by Brandon Anschultz, Uri Aran, Jean-Baptiste Bernadet, Michael Bauer, Michael Byron, Barb Choit, N. Dash, Brock Enright, Amy Granat, Sara Greenberger Rafferty, Tommy Hartung, Ajay Kurian, Daniel Lefcourt, Eva Lundsager, Tony Matelli, John McAllister, Adam McEwen, Virginia Overton, Karthik Pandian, Asher Penn, Jon Pestoni, William Pope.L, Stephen Powers, Alan Reid, Erin Shirreff, Greg Stimac, Mickalene Thomas, Ernest Trova, Sara VanDerBeek, Ned Vena, Phil Wagner, Jaimie Warren, Garth Weiser, Donelle Woolford, and B. Wurtz. Online bidding is currently available in partnership with Paddle8, with the live auction to be conducted on November 3 by Corey Barr of Phillips de Pury and Company. The Gala will emphasize White Flag Projects' role in fostering the connection between the city of St. Louis and the larger art world, focusing the event on formally introducing a group of notable gallerists from New York City's Lower East Side to those in attendance. The gallerists taking part are Lisa Cooley, Lisa Cooley; Candice Madey, On Stellar Rays; Joel Mesler, UNTITLED; and Rachel Uffner, Rachel Uffner Gallery. White Flag Projects' Inaugural Gala and Benefit Auction is organized by event co-chairs Susan Barrett, Tania Beasley-Jolly, James C. Jamieson III, and Susan Sherman, with support from honorary chairs Emily Rauh Pulitzer, and John and Alison Ferring.
