Anniversary-an act of memory with children of class 4. Anniversary-an act of memory, solo, collective and multi-lingual recitations from memory of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a performance series in 60 Acts. Artist Monica Ross has been working with children from the Cathedral Primary School of St Saviour and St Mary Overy to internalise the rights and responsibilities to which every human being is entitled. At Southwark Cathedral on 13 November, the children of Class 4 will join Monica in a collective recitation-from memory-of the entire text of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)-Plain English version. Act 47 is presented by Beaconsfield in association with Cathedral Primary School and Southwark Cathedral. Anniversary-an act of memory UK tour 2011-2013 is produced by Michelle Hirschhorn and supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
