Performance-Films and Videos, selected by John Baldessari and Joan Jonas: Vito Acconci, John Baldessari, Valie Export, Simone Forti, Gilbert & George, Joan Jonas, Ana Mendieta, Bruce Nauman, Yvonne Rainer and Richard Serra.

SPECTACULAR III will offer a the chance to view historically relevant performance work documented on film and video from artists that started working in this medium in the 1960s and 1970s. The premise is to offer the audience the possibility to get familiar with some of the roots of performance art. During one night the yard of the museum kunst-palast will be transformed into an open-air cinema and film program will be presented whoch has been put together by artists Joan Jonas and John Baldessari.
