In conjunction with their current exhibition Dancing On Bones by cutting edge Azeri artist Niyaz Najafov, Gazelli Art House will be hosting a night of Mugham Music by an acclaimed trio from Azerbaijan. Mugham is a highly complex art form that weds classical poetry and musical improvisation in specific local modes. Dating back to the 19th century UNESCO has now recognized Mugham as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
