Artists talk
Exhibiting artist Katy Paterson's work "Campo del Cielo, Field of the Sky, part of the Curiosity: Art and the Pleasure of Knowing" exhibition is a 4.5 billion year old meteorite which has been cast, melted and then re-cast as a model of itself. The innovative installation is due to complete its amazing journey next year when Paterson hopes to return the meteorite to space aboard the Georges Lamaitre ATV5, an unmanned re-supply spacecraft. Joining Katy to talk about this ambitious project is Dr Alice Bunn from the UK Space Agency who will be on hand to provide an update on recent UK and European activities in space.
