Sculpture and video by 14 international artists
A group exhibition dealing with the political, mystical and poetic boundaries of mechanism through sculpture and video. Most of the works share a low-tech esthetics, using old objects and useless spare parts to create kinetic sculptural environments and hybrid-mechanical "home-made" objects that cause disruption and destruction. A sense of invention and humorous nonsense imbues the works, with fantasy bordering on calamity. Artists: Guy Ben-Ner, Peter Fischli & David Weiss, Tamar Harpaz, Tamir Lichtenberg, Oz Malul, Barak Ravitz, Yael Rochman & Simon Krantz, Ariel Schlesinger, Miri Segal & Or Even Tov, Shmulik Twig, Gal Weinstein; curator Anat Danon-Sivan.
