For its 4th edition, the Contemporary drawing fair of Brussels is exhibiting an art that is often regarded as minor, to bring it back to its former glory. It will also give participating gallerists the opportunity to give pride of place to one of their artists through one and only one work, in any artistic discipline - painting, sculpture, video, etc. This will enrich the presentation with creations that go beyond the strict context of drawing to show another facet of the exhibited artist. Initiated by Brussels gallerist Pierre Hallet and Michel Culot for VO Event, Art on Paper's vocation is to take collectors and enthusiasts on a journey of discovery through the world of modern and contemporary drawing. Since its inception, the event has taken place in the ideal location: the prestigious Avenue Louise in Brussels. 40 or so Belgian and international gallerists will share the rooms to offer the public an original experience. Art on Paper+1 differentiates itself from large impersonal art fairs with its 'in situ' presentation of works and its welcoming and intimate spirit.
