'De Brakke Grond' is the heart of the Dancing on the Edge festival in Amsterdam. The festival presents contemporary performing arts from a tumultuous and fascinating region: the Middle East and Northern Africa. The theatre and dance performance programme at 'de Brakke Grond' will be complemented with films and installations. Laziz Late Night Lounges in the foyer and, of course, delicious food! The Dancing on the Edge programme can also be seen in Enschede, Den Haag, Utrecht, Rotterdam and Groningen. All the dance performances are 'Language no problem.' All the theatre shows are in Arabic, with English surtitle, with the exception of the Double Bill.
