Platform Garanti Contemporary Art Center
A video installation by Turkish artist Omer Ali Kazma, which explores the life of Galatasaray football club's soccer players and their coach Fatih Terim. Culled from footage shot by the artist and his colleague over a period of 8 months and hundreds of hours of viewing material, the camera follows the players in scrimmages, trips, dressing rooms and places of non-event. The viewer is exposed not to the football games themselves, but to the moments of expectation, frustration, joy, sorrow and pain experienced by young men.
