Straight-to-Video is an open submission moving image exhibition, being organised by HÔTEL BELLVILLE. Work will be exhibited on a looped DVD projection. We are looking for any kind of moving image work (excluding work which documents live performance), up to ten minutes in length and made in the last three years. Submissions are welcome from anywhere in the world, but can only be accepted in DVD format.

We will be unable to show all submitted work during this exhibition, but will be scheduling further straight-to-video shows in order to present the rest of the collection. As part of this submission call, HÔTEL BELLVILLE are also looking to consolidate their moving image library, for use in future exhibitions and events. If you would prefer us not to keep your submission, please include a stamped self-addressed envelope with your application.

Please send your DVD, the title, length and date of the work, with your name, email contact and address, with SAE if appropriate, to HÔTEL BELLVILLE, 12 Lower Marsh, Waterloo, London SE1 7RJ before 19 January 2004. You may include a short (less than 200 words) statement, although this is not necessary.

Straight-to-Video will take place at HÔTEL BELLVILLE from 29 January to 1 February 2004.
