This Is Not a Dream is a documentary feature film about artists' DIY approach to moving image technology. Telling the story of playful and political uses of the camera, from early portable video recorders to contemporary camera phones, the film is accompanied by specially commissioned video works by acclaimed London drag fabulist Dickie Beau. Featuring Dickie Beau, Dara Birnbaum, Nao Bustamante, Vaginal Davis, Cole escola, Vincent Fremont, Alp Haydar, Holestar, David Hoyle, Kalup Linzy, Glenn O'Brien and Scottee.
