4th edition. An international contemporary art fair committed to emerging artists that hosts 65 galleries, each presenting solo or duo shows. With outdoor projects in partnership with prestigious Marais institutions.
A contemporary fair committed to emerging artists in Paris from October 23 to 26, 2014. 100 artists are exhibited, with 65 galleries invited to the Carreau du Temple, an exceptional location in the heart of Paris. More than 25,000 people are expected to attend the event.
YIA - Young International Artists art fair occurs each year in Paris during October’s art week with FIAC. Established in the Marais neighborhood, YIA ART FAIR has existed in emblematic places such as the Cartonnerie and the Bastille Design Center, and has highlighted more than 150 artists and 70 galleries over the past 5 years.
For its 4th edition the international art fair YIA ART FAIR will take place from October 23 to 26 in the Carreau du Temple, an exceptional venue in the heart of the Marais neighborhood. As it just re-opened after a long period of restoration, this historic landmark is fast becoming a temple for contemporary creation in Paris, welcoming emerging creativity in the visual arts and also in fashion and design. This is the perfect venue for our art fair, which is open to all artistic practices.
YIA ART FAIR #04 – 2014 will host 65 French and international galleries in a 2500 m² exhibition hall, each presenting solo or duo shows for more than 25,000 visitors (collectors, art lovers, and professionals).
There will be lectures and tours for collectors and curators to give a reading on the emerging and contemporary art scene.
YIA ART FAIR #04 - 2014 has also organized outdoor projects in partnership with prestigious Marais institutions and in collaboration with guest curators, galleries, and artists, and the Marais culture and network.
YIA ART FAIR #04 – 2014 is exhibiting quality programming with French and international prospective galleries which support emerging artists and represent an ever-growing area of the international contemporary art scene.
YIA ART FAIR #04 – 2014 sticks to its identity with this new edition and will also have some surprises for its visitors.
The scenography will create a dialogue between the works in the outstanding venue that is the Carreau du Temple, to highlight the works of the French and international emerging art scene in a friendly and open atmosphere.
