Baggio will be exhibiting in the Process Room from the 2nd to the 14th of March 2004. The starting point of this project is an exploration of the concept of memory as a construction of history, traditions and roles while using his family as a reflection of this situation. The title of the exhibition arises from an art intervention on "The Story of Art" by Emma Kay.
Argentinian artist Gabriel Baggio will be exhibiting in the Process Room
from the 2nd to the 14th of March 2004. The starting point of this project
is an exploration of the concept of memory as a construction of history,
traditions and roles while using his family as a reflection of this
situation.
The title of the exhibition arises from an art intervention on "The Story of
Art" by Emma Kay.
"Conversation" (a work in progress) and other artworks will be assembled in
the Process Room and have all been created in the duration of Gabriel's
residency from the 2nd of December 2003 to the end of March 2004 at the
Irish Museum of Modern Art.
Gabriel will be giving a talk on Argentinian Art on Wednesday the 10th of
March at I.M.M.A in the lecture room at 3 o'clock.
