Onishi Project in collaboration with Mymicrogallery is pleased to announce “Images of Nature and Nature of Images”, curated by Stefania Carrozzini. The exhibition, is composed of eleven Italian and American artists, borrows the title of a text, which Pierre Restany wrote in the Eighties for the artist Clara Scarampella. The exhibition invites us to reflect on the fate of the representation and the nature of the image. Understanding the nature of the image and investigating how it comes develops and manifests itself in the eyes of the beholder leads to understand the hidden meanings and symbolic interactions, in other words, the true message of the artist. The images, whether realist or not, through their illusory nature become an instrument of knowledge. They are free and independent entities, since they act as energy frequencies and are the result of a synergy between the eye of the artist and the viewer. The exhibition is composed of sculptures, paintings, photographs.
