The show aims to highlight the quality and diversity of contemporary visual art practice from around the world, and across a wide range of disciplines, embracing photography, painting, video, installation, sculpture and performance art.
This is the seventh year of Perspective, Ormeau Baths Gallery’s Annual Open Submission Exhibition, with this year’s selected artists, chosen from more than 300 entries, coming from as far away as New York and Montreal, and as close to home as London and Dublin. Perspective aims to highlight the quality and diversity of contemporary visual art practice from around the world, and across a wide range of disciplines, embracing photography, painting, video, installation, sculpture and performance art.
At stake is the £6,000 Perspective 2004 prize, which will be presented by Vittorio Urbani, Director of the Nuova Icona Gallery, Venice, Italy at the exhibition preview on Thursday 30 September, 7-9pm at Ormeau Baths Gallery.
