A fund raising art exhibition. Inspired to do what they can to contribute to the Tsunami Appeal, over 50 professional artists have come together to raise funds for the victims of the Indian Ocean Tsunami by donating some of their favourite works for sale.

Art26 is a one-off opportunity for you to buy original works of art from some of the UK's best-known and most sought after contemporary artists, and raise much needed money for the Tsunami Appeal.
Inspired to do what they can to contribute to the Tsunami Appeal, over 50 professional artists have come together to raise funds for the vicitms of the Indian Ocean Tsunami by donating some of their favourite works for sale.
On the 26th January 2005 - exactly one calendar month after the Tsunami hit - Art26 will be displaying and selling their works at The Westbourne Studios, one of London's most imaginative spaces, combining a fine gallery area and bar and restaurant.
The art collection will include paintings, photography and prints, in different styles from figurative through to abstract. There will also be bronze sculptures, individually made ceramic and glass pieces, and digital multimedia work. All the artists involved are recognised and highly respected, including among many others Kate Eric, Nick Bashall, Mary Fedden OBE RA, Julian Barrow and David Shrigley.
Prices of the art will range from around £30 up to several thousand pounds, and many will be under their usual gallery price.
Thanks to the generosity not only of the artists themselves, but also of the Osborne Studio Gallery, the Albemarle Gallery, Partizan, Drop srl, the Westbourne Studios, and Gabrielle Shaw Communications, this event is being run at no cost. This means that 100% of the proceeds will go to DEC (Disaster Emergency Committee), the leading UK fundraising body for the Tsunami Appeal, representing amongst others, Save the Children, Oxfam and the British Red Cross.
This is a unique event where you will be able to view and buy stunning works of art by a group of over 55 outstanding artists, knowing it is all for an essential cause.
The event is from 4.30 till midnight, and there will be a £5 Appeal donation at the door.
