The second edition of maco méxico arte contemporáneo, international contemporary art fair, will take place from April 20st to 24th, 2005 in Mexico city.
This year, our boutique art fair will host 55 international art galleries from 10 different countries, selected by the fair's international selection commitee, conformed by the following members

maco méxico arte contemporáneo organizes an international collector's program hosting a group of 100 private, corporate and institutional collectors invited to participate in a diverse social - cultural program of activities including visits to the art fair, museums, private collections, dinners and parties. The participating galleries can suggest the collectors for this program.
For the second time maco méxico arte contemporáneo will take place at the Expo Reforma Convention Center, conveniently located a block from Reforma Avenue, close to the Polanco, Roma and Condesa neighborhoods and a few steps away from the Centro Historico. The fair will be distributed in 8,000 m2 throughout the five floors of the convention center.
The general galleries section, all of them with more than five years of experience will exhibit established artists.
The new proposals section will present galleries with less than five years of experience presenting the work of emerging artists from different parts of the world.
The main objective of maco méxico arte contemporáneo is to promote art collecting, the internationalization of contemporary art in our country and the interrelation between mexican and international collectors, artists, curators and galleries.
