John Houston

Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Edinburgh

The exhibition, organised to mark Houston's 75th birthday, will bring together more than forty paintings by the artist, charting his career from the late 1940s to the present day. Alongside his powerful landscapes will be paintings of friends and fellow artists, such as John Bellany and his wife Elizabeth Blackadder.
