Arti et Amicitiae, Amsterdam

Will there be then any difference between life and death

Genetic engineering, genome patents, transgenic food, bio-technology, bio-products and consumption of it in contemporary society, bio-diversity preservation, animal and plants species protection, only to mention a few of the topics which will be discussed upon during the Forum Discussion organized on the occasion of this apparently fragmented and disorienting exhibition.....(.........).
Artists with a specific artistic attitude and operating between the much discussed ethic-aesthetic boundaries in contemporary society, have been invited to "demonstrate" in real terms and time their personal view on a number of crucial life matters.
All of them motivated by the idea that conscious existence for humans is but a fraction of a much more complex organic life, will disclose their usually hidden "search" procedures to public, during a 5 week period of intense would-be scintific work.
For this Forum Discussion, Scintists and Biologists from AMC Academisch Medisch Centrum Amsterdam, will expose their individual research and will confront their professionally "clear" field of perspectives with the random and less analytical ones within which artists have always been carrying out their investigating "research"....(..........)
