William Klein

As a photographer, film-maker, graphic artist and painter, W. Klein is among those who have most contributed, for almost fifty years, to revolutionising the practice of photography, by engendering a new type of photographic writing, notably through books. The retrospective exhibition blends early and contemporary works - photographs, book lay-outs, film excerpts, paintings, drawings, posters - taken from the artist's personal archives.
