On one hand the works of Jelena Tomasevic and Biljana Djurdjevic give life through an esthetic influenced by surrealism to deeply intense violent scenes: the young Balkanic generation urge to deconstruct their recent history in order to understand it. The subtle drawing lines of the Swiss artist Dimitri Horta allow us to discover the existential angst that supports the expressionist power of his work.
