'Artist-Citizen: Posters for a Better World' presents approximately 20 framed posters produced between 1970 and 1996 that address such issues as apartheid, artists' rights, Earth Day, and nuclear disarmament; works produced for the Rauschenberg Overseas Cultural Interchange (ROCI) are also featured. Since the 1960s, the artist-activist has been applying his innovative collage style to contemporary social and political concerns through a variety of media, including lithography and other printmaking techniques.
