Since the late 1960s, these three artists have been developing their work
distinctly within the canon of minimalism.
In this new exhibition they
continue to break new ground: Barry Le Va's Sorting, Cataloguing: Heads,
Limbs, Torsos Family X (Partially Accounted For) 1998-2001 is comprised of
cast hydrastone, wood and rubber, and is installed in the large gallery;
Richard Nonas's Saved From Drowning (For Yoa) 2001 consists of twelve 250lb
steel rods spanning from the smaller gallery into the large; and, Fred
Sandback's Untitled 1969/2001 is a work in two parts, made of yarn, which
frames the main walls in both galleries.
