European media artists in residence exchange. The seventh EMARE programme will take place in Summer to Winter 2001, offering participating artists the opportunity to create new work based at key media arts organisations across Europe.

The seventh EMARE programme will take place in Summer to
Winter 2001,
offering participating artists the opportunity to create
new work based
at key media arts organisations across Europe. The
residencies last two
months, and the artists will be provided with local
accommodation, the
use of the media technical resources of the partner
organisations, a
financial supplement, and participation in regional
festivals or
separate presentations of their work.
The EMARE partners are Hull Time Based Arts, Duncan of
Jordanstone
(Dundee, Scotland), V2 (Rotterdam, Netherlands), Werkleitz
Gesellschaft
(Saxony-Anhalt, Germany).
EMARE is open to artists from EU and associated countries.
The closing date for applications is the 31st May 2001.
