The international studio & curatorial program (iscp) is pleased to announce its Open Weekend on May 6, 7 and 8, 2006.

Unrivalled among visual arts residencies in its global outreach, iscp is a portal to new art from five continents. For most of the 27 artists and curators currently in residence, the three-day Open Weekend is the first exposure of their work in the United States. In an informal ambience, visitors can experience a broad range of aesthetic positions in diverse media: painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, performance, video, film and new technology, with artists and curators on-site. Through iscp’s effectiveness in providing an infrastructure, which accelerates integration and interaction with the host culture, the program has become a dynamic catalyst for introduction, presentation, connection, exposure and dissemination. iscp was founded in 1994 by Dennis Elliott, its Director. The program opens to the public semi-annually in May and November each year.
