The Gaiety School of Acting is proud to present three new shows. 'Olive Skin, Blood Mouth' is a new play by Gavin Kostick. Brian Macguire, one of Ireland's leading painters, will paint four unique canvasses nas backdrops for the 20th anniversary of the school.

The Gaiety School of Acting is proud to present a specially commissioned new play by
Gavin Kostick. Created with, and now performed by, the graduating actors, Olive
Skin, Blood Mouth, loosely adapted from Ovid's Metamorphoses, unleashes the
performers into a wild, physical engaging and challenging meditation on love, greed,
war and loss. One of Ireland's leading painters, Brian Maguire, will paint four
unique canvasses as backdrops for this production which marks the 20th anniversary
of The Gaiety School of Acting.

Following the great success of last years play 'I Pretend' for the Dublin Pride
festival, 'Bang out of Order presents a new play, 'Sins of the Mother' A MUST SEE
FOR PRIDE FESTIVAL.
Kate is a wisecracking troubled young woman in a long term relationship with Sara.
She develops and irrational hatred for an older acquaintance, Lily. But it is the
reappearance of her long lost love Evelyn, now married, which causes events to
spiral out of control. This funny, but ultimately tragic play deals with issues of
jealousy, greed sexual confusion and control and with how the present is always
haunted by the past.
KAI BIG BAND
One performance only Sunday 25 June 8pm
Described as "the future of jazz in Ireland," the Kai Big Band returns to the
Project with a new 14 piece all-star line-up. With a new series of specially written
commissions and a fortnight of rehearsals supported by a Project Award 06, this
promises to be their most spectacular and original outing so far.
