An art fair dedicated to video and digital art. DiVA will arrange 20 shipping containers along the beachfront at Lummus Park. This outdoor exhibition will feature artists working exclusively in digital & video formats from an international selection of galleries. The show intends to be a meeting ground for the distribution of Video Art.

Fre're Independent is proud to announce the premiere edition of DiVA in Miami Beach. DiVA is the only art fair
dedicated to video and digital art in Miami Beach at this time.
For the premiere edition in this exciting city, DiVA distinguishes itself from the rest by setting up a container
village placed on the beachfront of Lummus Park on Ocean Drive between 11th and 12th street. The village is
located at one end of the Serpentine (beach walk), echoing ABMB’s Positions which is located at the other
end. DiVA will arrange twenty shipping containers along the beachfront at Lummus Park. This outdoor
exhibition will feature artists working exclusively in digital & video formats from an international selection of
galleries. The exhibition will be free and open to the public daily from 2pm to 10pm. Other programs include
video projections held at our outdoor beachfront theater and at the terrace of the Hotel Victor.
Since the invention of photography, nothing has had a greater impact on artistic practice than the emergence
of the personal video camera, and later, digital technology. Today, cameras and video cameras, digital and
otherwise, with the aid of computers, have become the ultimate tool in creating a dynamic arena for artistic
expression. The goal of the exhibition is to heighten the appreciation and acceptance of digital & video art in
new areas. DiVA intends to be a meeting ground for the distribution of Video Art.

We implement our mission with two high-profile, highly targeted art exhibitions where buyers, galleries and artists from around the world can come together to do business. Pool is an artists' fair for artists by artists. DiVA is reserved for galleries that show a clear interest in promoting and distributing video and digital art.
