For additional information email to: LIAC is a
non-profit artists’ camp facility for working in a
natural environment. LIAC provides freedom of
space, and studios are open 24 hours a day.
The home of LIAC is Laz, a Transylvanian village
with an old tradition of painting icons on glass, a
place where artists can go to think, eat, sleep,
and live art in an ancient medium, in the middle
of nature and in the company of other hard
working artists.
LIAC is designed for painters who want to spend
ten days producing art, exchanging ideas,
interacting with their fellow-artists from the wide
world of art and living in one of the wildest and
ethno-geographically most interesting parts of
Transylvania, Romania
LIAC allows artists time to recharge their work,
develop new ideas, explore new options. LIAC
limits the number of artists to not more than 10
and under the age of 18. Artists are given the
opportunity to exhibit their work in an art gallery
in Cluj-Napoca.
