The New Art Gallery Walsall, Walsall

The exhibition explores the reciprocal relationship beteewn comics and contemporay art. The language of comics has influenced many contemporary artists, who adopt its conventions of pictorial narrative to comunicate graphically with the viewer. The comic strip has a unique ability to communicate difficult emotional themes and sensitive political issues in ana accessible style.
