Cloaca
The Belgian artist Wim Delvoye (*1965, lives in Gent) became known to a
wider public at the 1992 documenta 9 exhibition. Now, nine years later, the
migros museum is presenting the first museum exhibition of his work in
Switzerland. The focal point of the exhibition is the monumental
installation 'Cloaca', a representation of the human digestive system. Other
works provide an opportunity for the visitor to delve more deeply into his
unique oeuvre.
