Kenneth Martin & Mary Martin

The first joint exhibition of two of the major figures in British abstract art for over twenty years. The exhibition presents the constructed art of both artists, including Kenneth Martin’s kinetic mobile sculptures and Mary Martin’s reliefs and architectural maquettes. 'Kenneth Martin & Mary Martin: Constructed Works' is organised by Camden Arts Centre in collaboration with De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill and travels to Tate St Ives.

Daniel Silver: Heads

This new highly charged installation 'Heads' constitutes dozens of carved heads made in Zimbabwe. Silver has a playful and experimental approach to using different materials. He is a traditionalist with a refreshing take on the world’s current affairs. The starting point for his ‘portraits’, were photographs of inmates condemned to Death Row in the USA. Silver revisits the use of the portrait bust; in the 18th- and 19th-centuries these were exclusively of prominent, mostly heroic figures.
