B Hotel Open Call
MoMA PS1, New York
To all video artists: P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, a Museum of Modern Art affiliate, is looking for single-channel video work for the upcoming exhibition "B Hotel," opening December 9, 2001. "B Hotel" will be located in the "Hive," an exhibition design conceived by P.S.1 Chief Curator Klaus Biesenbach for Buzz Club: News From Japan.

P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, a Museum of Modern Art
affiliate, is looking for single-channel video work for the upcoming
exhibition "B Hotel," opening December 9, 2001. "B Hotel" will
be located in the "Hive," an exhibition design conceived by P.S.1
Chief Curator Klaus Biesenbach for Buzz Club: News From
Japan.
The size of a "Hive" LCD monitor is 2.5" high by 3.25" wide. This
size cannot be altered, and only these monitors may be used.
The "Hive" is a pure viewing environment which allows viewers to
experience video works in private cubicles on small LCD
monitors. No interior alteration or decoration of the "Hive" is
allowed.
Please send only single-channel video work on VHS or DVD,
along with a brief biography and description of the work,
immediately to Alanna Heiss, Klaus Biesenbach and Daniel
Marzona at the "B Hotel."
Submissions must be postmarked no later than November 10th.
All video submissions will be screened by a panel of P.S.1 and
MoMA curators and staff. Please include a self-addressed
stamped envelope if you would like your materials returned.
