At its debut, the fair comprises nearly 100 galleries from 17 countries, creating a dynamic exchange center for new ideas. The strengths of the new show lie in the quality and diversity of our offerings: contemporary work, modern masters, photography, including new discoveries and the high-end design arts. A user-friendly show, geared to those who may be new to serious collecting as well as to seasoned art fair experts.
Once anchoring the January art calendar, after nearly two decades the New Art Miami debuts in December in the Wynwood Art District, from December 5 to 9. On an international stage, bringing fresh faces to the city, including a good many art dealers who are leading, long-time experts in their areas of specialization, Art Miami promises to surprise.
Nearly 100 galleries from 17 countries – many of them established gallerists participating in Miami for the first time – will create a dynamic exchange center for new ideas. The strengths of the new show lie in the quality and diversity of our offerings: contemporary work, modern masters, photography, including new discoveries and the high-end design arts. On view, for example, will be a large showing of contemporary Chinese art, a refined presentation of modern and contemporary Latin American work, and prime examples of today’s most important contemporary photography – all intertwined with superb examples of modern master works of the 20th century.
The 100,000 square foot spectacular pavilion is stationed at the center of the week's activity: at NW 2nd Avenue between 22nd and 23rd Streets, just blocks from the major satellite fairs, the Rubell Family Collection, MOCA at Goldman Warehouse, The Margulies Collection at the Warehouse, CIFO, Miami’s most renowned galleries, and the Miami Design District. Art Miami brings a user-friendly show, geared to those who may be new to serious collecting as well as to seasoned art fair experts, with ample lounge space, a full service restaurant, and convenient shuttle services.
Art Miami is the only fair to offer VIP visitors the services of an art advisor. Art advisors invited by Art Miami will be "on call" throughout the show's run.
Sponsors of Art Miami include Citibank, ArtNexus, Open Doors, Prive Jets and Managed Artwork.
