Elizabeth Underwood's organization ArtInAction commissions artists to create largely ephemeral, site-specific sculptures, instllations, and performances in the neighborhoods most affected by Hurricane Katrina. Elizabeth Underwood is an artist and musician who initiated ArtInAction in 2006 while living in a temporary trailer in New Orleans. Upcoming installations and performances will take place in the Treme, Lakeview, and Hollygrove neighborhoods. Anyone interested in participating/contributing can contact her.
