The year 2000 saw no less than 12 Indian films shot or part-shot in the UK.
This is partly due to the liberalisation of the Indian film industry, but
also to the better opportunities for showing Indian films in the UK.
The
Asian population in the UK and around the world is a growing audience with
demanding tastes.
