The images and their fragments appear
momentarily
and then seemingly disappear.
The artist considers her paintings
landscapes,
influenced by a stone on the corner road, the grasses and wild flowers in
fields, or
glances of romantic imagery which leave a permanent inspiration in her
art.
Sook Myoung Yoon received her MFA from Pratt Institute in 1994 and has
shown
extensively in Korea and the USA. This is the first exhibition for the
artist at the
George Billis Gallery.
