The London Contemporary Art Fair, now its 14th year, is the largest and most important contemporary art fair in Britain. ART2002 features over one hundred carefully selected galleries from throughout the UK giving an unrivalled opportunity to access the top galleries at one unique London venue. Whilst including some of the most prestigious names in British art, the Fair’s special focus has always been on emerging artists and innovative galleries, reflecting London’s unique reputation as a hot bed for new talent.

a hot bed for new talent. Artstart presents 18
younger cutting edge galleries which gives you a
route into the newest and most intriguing art
around.
Featuring one hundred leading galleries from throughout the UK, ART2002
represents a unique overview of the British art market. Exhibitors are
rigorously selected by an independent advisory panel to ensure the quality of
the works on show, which cover the full range of paintings, drawings,
sculpture and prints. START, a special area now well established at
ART2002, will feature a carefully selected group of younger galleries showing
the latest work by talented newcomers.
Lucy Field, Fair Director, said: "The role of London as a centre for the
