Presented in the form of a discussion with the public the meeting focuses on the issue of hospitality and conditions of migratory practices in the cultural, political and social circumstances of the globalized world. It examines the principles that connect the artists and the migrants today and analyses the relations between the practices of display and that of knowledge sharing. The discussion is structured around the projection of a film The Blackmailers (2006) by a Belgian artist Tristan Wibault. The film evokes the conditions of the democracy today and the limits of artistic and civic freedoms and mobility.
