Ruptures and Heritages (the 1970s)

Royal Museums of Fine Arts, Bruxelles

The exhibition gives consideration to the work developed by a generation of French artists that appeared in the 1970s and to the echo and to the support that some of them received in Belgium. They call into question their work as founders, and their new way of thinking still remains current thirty years later. Work by: Daniel Buren, Andre' Cadere, Jean Le Gac, Annette Messager, Francois Morellet, Anne and Patrick Poirier, Claude Rutault, Sarkis, Niele Toroni, Bernar Venet, Claude Viallat.
