Paintings by Guttuso & Contemporary Italian Artists

The renowned Italian artist, Renato Guttuso (1912-1987), created masterpieces in the course of his career. His pleasantly varied works are among the realist creations of the 20th century. Many of them are the epic depiction of the common people's heart-rendering life. In this series, he achieved his neo-Baroque style of painting through which he realistically portrayed human life in the course of Italy's socio-political upheavels.
