In Manuel Esnoz's newest paintings he has moved away from the figure and has focused on landscape and architecture. As in his earlier work the viewer is pushed to finish the images mentally while he continues to use different visual techniques such as dots and lines to further blur the distance between abstraction and representation.

The Kravets/Wehby Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of Manuel
Esnoz opening on Saturday, May 4 with a reception for the artist from 6 to
8pm and running through June 8, 2002.
In Manuel Esnoz's newest paintings he has moved away from the figure and has
focused on landscape and architecture. As in his earlier work the viewer is

visual techniques such as dots and lines to further blur the distance

Manuel Esnoz is a young painter from Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2001 he
had solo shows in Buenos Aires at Dabbah/Torrejon and in Sao Paolo at Thomas
Cohn Gallery. He was included in a recent major exhibition at Museo
Nacional de Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires as well as in 'Collectors Choice'
at Exit Art in New York. Many catalogues have been published on his work
and his work was recently featured in Time Out New York and Art Nexus.
This will be his fourth solo show in New York.
