The Man and the King. A major exhibition on Louis XIV will bring together over 300 outstanding works from around the world that have never been together in the same place before. Paintings, sculptures, objets d'art and furniture will be on display. These masterpieces, some of which have not been shown in France since the Ancien Regime, will make visitors more familiar with the famous king's private tastes and public image. The palace's most famous places: the Hall of Mirrors, Grand Apartments of the King and of the Queen, King's Bedchamber, apartments of the Dauphin (the crown prince) and Mesdames' Apartments (weekends only).
