Four days of non-stop film/Morality Act III
For 24 hours per day, for 4 days, Witte de With is transformed into a giant screening platform. 96 films, from over 40 artists are presented in a kaleidoscopic exploration of morality. Among the works included are two playfully rebellious works by Japanese collective ChimPom, an understated attack on the Disney empire by Finnish artist Pilvi Takala, a moral re-examination of Dutch military history by Wendelien van Oldenborgh, and a brutal play of hand puppets from Ciprian Muresan, to mention just a few. The program opens at in the early hours of Thursday 4th February, with Erik van Lieshout's Rotterdam-Rostock and doesn't stop until 96 hours later.
