The 10th edition of Japanese film festival. With more than 150 current Japanese feature and short films, Nippon Connection again showcases a wide variety of avant-garde films, anime and blockbusters as well as documentaries, in many cases with the filmmaker in attendance. Nippon Digital presents animation, short films and documentaries as well as digitally produced films and has long since become an international insider's tip for everyone out to discover something new. This year, a jury will hand out the Nippon Digital Award for the first time. Nippon Retro shows highlights from previous festival years in collaboration with Mal Sehn Kino. Here is possible to enjoy different aspects of Japanese culture. Two exhibitions to visits: ''10 Years of Nippon Connection Design'', at Galerie Station - Kunstlerhaus Mousonturm and ''The Empty Canvas. Woodcut exhibition'' at Kunstraum Westend, Beethovenstrasse 35.
