Petra Feriancova born in bratislava, former czechoslovakia in 77, works in
the intentions of post-production. the key moment of her work is the
conceptualisation of her own emotional reactions to the processes of
perception and memory as well as examination of the conditions of their
sharing. the main aim of the manipulation with a reference, pictorial or
discursive, is to provide a spectator with the original affective reaction to
it.
Martin Ježek born in 1976, studied film editing and production at famu in
prague. after making some fictional films with actors or better figurants, he
invented his own specific method of s8 and 16mm filmmaking, using wild
montage of intuitively recorded images in combination with similarly
multilayered, elaborate soundtrack full of fragments of music and sentences.
Dima Dubson born in minsk, belarus in 1980 has been living in new
york city since 1998. he made his first short film (tudor city film) in 2005.
most recently dima has been making videos set to songs by artists including
adam green, john maus and lissy trullie as well as video projections for
fashion shows by mandy coon. currently he is making a feature-length film
portrait of singer/songwriter, visual artist, rock star and human being adam
green.
